Adding Contacts

  1. Stress importance of potential contacts

  2. Import through a CSV or import manually

    1. Importing through a CSV

      1. A CSV is a comma-separated spreadsheet format that can be created by many programs such as Excel, Google Sheets, Google Contacts or Numbers

      2. “Bob Smith,[email protected],123-456-7890,123 Fake Street

      3. Tools > Import from CSV > Select CSV File > Open> Map Your Headers > Map Your Values > Review Your Import

    2. Importing manually

      1. Click + (top right) > Add Single or Multiple contacts

  3. Four primary ways to get new contacts

    1. Your donors

    2. Discussing with team’s donors

    3. Developed contacts

    4. Curated contacts from HQ

Set Status for Multiple Contacts

  1. Click Contacts

  2. Select multiple contacts (control picks one at a time; shift)

    1. Gift Details > Gift Amount Range > Gift Amount Higher Than or Equal To = 5000

  3. Select Actions (top right) > Edit Fields

    1. Status = Contact for Appointment

    2. Likely to Give = Most Likely

  4. Select Save

Status Tracking using Contacts Column View

  1. Explain Custom Workflow

  2. Click Column View (top right) > View Settings (top left)

    1. To Do - Cultivate Relationship

    2. Contact for Appointment - Contact for Appointment

    3. Appointment Scheduled - Appointment Scheduled

    4. Callback - Call for Decision

    5. Partners - Partners - Financial, Partner - Special, Partner - Pray

    6. (can add columns)

  3. Assign Status - Drag-n-Drop - (creates task as well) - ex. Appointment Scheduled, etc.

  4. Assign Status - Partners

    1. Set Commitment - enables notifications if give less or miss

Income & Expenses Tracking using Responsibility Centers (exciting new feature!)

  1. Reports > Responsibility Centers > View Transactions > View Summary (click on different transactions)

  2. Reports > 14 month reports (great way to keep track of of annual givers as well as see who has missed a gift)

Mobile App - Call, Text, Email Creates Task Automatically

  1. Column view not available in the mobile app*

  2. Use your mobile app to access your contacts and call, text or email through the app and create tasks automatically

Mobile App - Directions

  1. Can use Google Maps through MPDx from that person’s contact address
