Personal Support Raising Materials:

Personal support brochure

Personal brochures are ordered through moxy ox, a print house in Northwest Arkansas, using their motogo system. Follow these steps to create and print your personal materials.

  1. If you haven't created a profile yet on motogo, use this link to create a profile. It will be automatically tied to our CMM overarching account. Keep your password in a safe place (LastPass!); the CMM won't be able to retrieve your password for you.

  2. Go to moxyox.com/motogo and enter your login ID and password.

  3. Click on "Catalog."

  4. Choose the correct location from the left menu and the correct family size brochure from that category.

  5. Upload your own photo and enter the brochure information. You'll see the preview update as you enter information.

  6. Continue to shopping cart. Use your own credit or debit card to pay. New staff are reimbursed for their first 100 brochures.

  7. On step 4 of the order process ("Review"), type "Please provide a digital PDF" in the Special Instructions area. Moxy ox will then provide you with a digital file of your brochure for you to email or message to potential donors.

  8. Place your order.

  9. Submit an expense reimbursement through Expensify so the purchase can be tax-free. New staff can select CMM General as the payee for the first 100 (full time) 50 (Interns/part time) brochures ; all other brochures will need to be reimbursed from personal ministry accounts.

Multiplying Mission Movements booklet

This booklet introduces potential donors to the CMM and should be the backbone of your support presentation. Staff can order Multiplying booklets for free, and either pick them up in NWA at Moxy Ox or pay to have them shipped to you.

You will be ordering these brochures through moxy ox, a print house in Northwest Arkansas, using their motogo system. Follow these steps- which are the same steps to ordering Personal Support Brochures.

  4. Click on Multiply Booklet and choose your quantity.

  5. Continue to shopping cart. Use your own credit or debit card to pay for the shipping or click "pick up".

  6. Place your order.

  7. Submit an expense reimbursement through Expensify so the purchase can be tax-free.

Mailchimp Template

The Creative Studio provides each staff member a template to load into Mailchimp. It's an easy way to get your newsletter up and running, and using the same template ensures that the CMM's identity is communicated well to all staff's newsletter recipients. In order to accept the template linked below, you must first have a Mailchimp account set up.

Powerpoint Presentation

This presentation is an on-screen version of the Multiplying booklet. This is a template for you to download and arrange for your personal support appointments. This will also work for a group.

Magnets

Magnets can be ordered through motogo, just like personal brochures. Please see instructions above, but choose either a vertical or horizontal magnet instead of a personal brochure.

Contact Cards

Contact cards(business cards) can be ordered through motogo, just like personal brochures. Please see instructions above, but choose contact card instead of a personal brochure.

CMM Thank You Notes

Some staff prefer to send CMM branded thank you notes to donors. The CMM prints batches of thank you notes for wider use at the CMM, but we can provide some for you.

Response Cards

The response card is essentially the back page of your personal brochure. You can include it with a written ask (like an end-of-year ask) so that donors know how to give. Download the print file to print on a desktop printer (they'll have to be cut out afterward), or send the digital file attached to an email. Please note that your potential donor must know your ministry account number to fill out in the upper left corner.

CMM Return Envelopes

Some staff like to provide #9 return envelopes in their written asks for people to put donations, checks, and/or response cards. These are printed already for wider use at the CMM, but we can provide some for you.

Support Raising Software:

We recommend MPDx, a free online donor tracking app. Keep track of donations and contact with donors here.

MPDx Instructions

MPDx is the donor management software you can use to keep track of your support contacts, appointments, tasks, phone call logs, etc. You will be able to view your gifts in MPDx and see the status of donor’s giving, including a list of donors that have fallen behind in their commitments. MPDx is accessible from any web browser and also has an Android and iPhone app.

To get started follow these steps:

  1. Import your contacts into MPDx. See:

  2. Connect your Google account, Google Calendar and MailChimp.

    • Google Calendar Sync: When you sync MPDx with your Google Calendar tasks, such as support appointments, are added to your calendar.

    • Gmail Sync: You can setup MPDx to sync to Gmail, so when you send an email to a donor it is recorded in the contact's history in MPDx. Watch the video below to learn how to sync MPDX with Gmail.

    • Google Contacts Sync: You can sync your contacts between MPDX and your Google account.

    • Mailchimp Sync: Mailchimp is a free email newsletter service. These two programs work well together. Once you have your Mailchimp account set up watch the video below. This guides you through syncing your contacts. You can mark your contacts in MPDx to receive an email newsletter, and they will import into Mailchimp. Mailchimp will record emails sent in the contact's history in MPDX and will mark if the email is invalid or if the contact chose to no longer receive the email.

  3. Set up your Support Coach.

  4. Mobile App: If you would like to view your donors and donations in a mobile phone app follow these steps:

MPD Tracker Template - If you choose to use this please download or copy and move to your "My Drive"

Newsletters:

We recommend that you use MailChimp to send newsletters and updates to your donors. You can sign up for a free account at: www.mailchimp.com. You will receive a CMM Header and Footer along with a template to help you get started with your newsletters.

IMPORTANT! Please add [email protected] to your eNewsletter list to share with the CMM community your latest ministry updates. We encourage staff to share and use others' stories and pictures, as we are all in this together.

If you would like to receive others' newsletters by email, you can join the [email protected] group here. Click on the "Join group" link and then you will start getting newsletters from other CMM staff.

Mailchimp Instructions

Once you have created your account and logged in MailChimp should guide you through the rest of the setup steps.

There are three ways to add people to your newsletters,

  1. Sync your MailChimp account with a MPDX account to automatically add people to your newsletter. See: MPDx Instructions.

  2. List all your contacts in a .csv Excel spreadsheet and merge them with your MailChimp account. See Import Contacts to Mailchimp.

  3. Send a link to people that will let them fill out a form and subscribe to your newsletters. See: How the Form Builder Works

To use the CMM template for your newsletter, go to this link and add it your email templates.

Once the template has been added to your account you can view it by going to Campaigns > Email Templates.

To create a new campaign from the email template, go to the dropdown for the template and select Create Campaign. Follow the on-screen instructions to send out your newsletter.
