Reply to Message(s) from user

Reply from Email

  • Log into the Help Gmail account

  • Open the email with the chat you would like to respond to

  • Click Reply and write your response to the chat message

  • Click Send

    • The User will receive the message in the Bot Chat Bubble and via email

Reply from Intercom Console

  • Log into Intercom.com using the Help account login

  • Choose the message you would like to reply to from the list on the Left

  • Type you reply in the Reply field

  • Hit Enter or click the Send button in the bottom right corner of the Reply field

Add New Article

  • Log into Intercom.com using the Help account login

  • Click on the Inbox dropdown field in the Top Left Corner of the page

  • Click on Articles

  • Click on the blue New Article button in the top right corner

    • If Copying a current Job Aide

      • Copy and paste the content from the job aide into the new article

      • Copy and paste the title from the job aide into the Article Title field

    • If creating a new Job Aide from scratch

      • Enter the Title for the new article

      • Type in the content of the new article

    • Click Publish to publish the article

  • Put the Article in the correct Collection

    • Click on Help Center

    • Click on Collections

    • Click on the Collection you would like to add the article to

    • Click on the blue Add Articles button

Setup Notifications for new Chat Messages

  • Log into Intercom.com using the Help account login

  • Click on the Profile Icon in the bottom left corner

  • Click on Your Account

  • Click on Notifications

  • Check the place you would like to get the notifications sent to

    • Email should already be checked but Desktop and Mobile are additional options
