Log into your Via Google Account if needed

1. If that link does not work, you can follow the steps below, otherwise you can move to Step 3:
 1. Click on Square of Dots in the top right corner
 
 
 
 2. Click on Chat

Click on the Download Icon in the URL Bar (Circled in screenshot below)

Google Chat should now be it’s own program/window

1. For PC:
 1. Right-click on the new icon in the taskbar
 2. Click “Pin to Taskbar”
2. For Mac:
 1. Right-click on the new icon in the taskbar
 
 
 
 2. Mouse over “Options”
 3. Click “Keep in dock”

1. Log into your Via Google Account if needed

3. Click on the Download Icon in the URL Bar (Circled in screenshot below)
 
 
 
4. Click Install
5. Google Chat should now be it’s own program/window
6. Pin it to the Taskbar
 1. For PC:
 1. Right-click on the new icon in the taskbar
 2. Click “Pin to Taskbar”
 2. For Mac:
 1. Right-click on the new icon in the taskbar
 
 
 
 2. Mouse over “Options”
 3. Click “Keep in dock”

This will make Google Chat Launch automatically when you turn your computer on

1. Copy and Paste the link above into a new Tab in your Browser

Right click on the Chat App

Click the Launch at Startup checkbox

1. Browse to chrome://apps/
 1. Copy and Paste the link above into a new Tab in your Browser
2. Right click on the Chat App
3. Click the Launch at Startup checkbox

Enter your Apple Password or use Facial/Fingerprint ID if needed

Once the app is installed tap Open

1. Or, find the app on your phone and tap it to open

1. If you are already signed into your Via Google Account
 1. Select that account
 1. Tap the Slider Button to the Right of the account
 2. Tap Done in the Top Left corner
2. If you are not already signed in
 1. Tap Add Another Account
 2. Tap Continue when prompted
 3. Sign into your Via Google Account
 1. Once signed in you should be taken back to the Manage Accounts page of Google Chat
 4. Tap Done in the Top Left Corner

1. Tap the Allow option when prompted

You should now see all Google Chats and be able to send and receive messages as needed

1. Open the App Store app
2. Search for Google Chat
3. Tap Install
4. Enter your Apple Password or use Facial/Fingerprint ID if needed
5. Once the app is installed tap Open
 1. Or, find the app on your phone and tap it to open
6. Tap the Get Started button
7. Setup your account
 1. If you are already signed into your Via Google Account
 1. Select that account
 1. Tap the Slider Button to the Right of the account
 2. Tap Done in the Top Left corner
 2. If you are not already signed in
 1. Tap Add Another Account
 2. Tap Continue when prompted
 3. Sign into your Via Google Account
 1. Once signed in you should be taken back to the Manage Accounts page of Google Chat
 4. Tap Done in the Top Left Corner
8. Allow Notifications
 1. Tap the Allow option when prompted
9. You should now see all Google Chats and be able to send and receive messages as needed

Open the Google Play Store App in your Work Profile

1. If you do not have a work profile you can just open the Google Play Store App

Enter your device pin/password or use Facial/Fingerprint ID if needed

You should be automatically logged in with your Vianations Google account if you installed the app through your Work Profile

1. If you did not install through your Work Profile you will be automatically logged in with the Google Account associated with your Google Play Store
   1. You can switch between accounts if needed by clicking on the Profile icon in the top right corner and selecting the account you want to use

1. Open the Google Play Store App in your Work Profile
 1. If you do not have a work profile you can just open the Google Play Store App
2. Search for Google Chat
3. Tap Install
4. Enter your device pin/password or use Facial/Fingerprint ID if needed
5. Once the app is installed tap Open
 1. Or, find the app on your phone and tap it to open
6. You should be automatically logged in with your Vianations Google account if you installed the app through your Work Profile
 1. If you did not install through your Work Profile you will be automatically logged in with the Google Account associated with your Google Play Store
 1. You can switch between accounts if needed by clicking on the Profile icon in the top right corner and selecting the account you want to use
